We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
* Perform patient assessments,
* Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
* Implement aseptic techniques to ensure infection control within the clinic.
* Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus
* Proficient in medical coding and documentation review processes.
* Ability to perform effective patient care while adhering to infection control standards.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
