*Job Summary:*
This position is responsible for providing high quality, culturally responsive medical care to patients at the Native American Community Clinic (NACC) within the scope of physician licensure and Family Medicine training. The Physician works as part of an integrated care team to support the health and wellness of individuals and families, with a focus on relationship based care, health equity, and clinical excellence. This role includes responsibility for providing prenatal care as part of NACC’s comprehensive, community grounded approach to caring for pregnant patients and families.Duties and
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide comprehensive, patient centered Family Medicine care to Native American individuals and families across the lifespan
* Provide prenatal care for pregnant patients, including routine prenatal visits, screening, education, and care coordination
* Provide postpartum follow up and ongoing primary care after delivery in collaboration with hospital and community partners
* Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, traditional medicine, and external partners to support integrated, culturally grounded care
* Participate in program development and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen primary care and prenatal services at NACC
* Share in on call coverage as assigned to ensure access to care and clinical continuity
* Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, staff, and external partners to support integrated, high quality care
* Adhere to established clinical protocols, privileging requirements, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and compliant practice
* Meet or exceed productivity benchmarks while maintaining a focus on quality, access, safety, and culturally grounded care
* Willingness to participate in up to one Saturday half day of clinic coverage per month to support patient access
*Qualifications *
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
* Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
* Board certified in Family Medicine
* Eligible for or able to obtain unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
* Eligible for privileging and credentialing at NACC
* Demonstrated experience providing prenatal care within a Family Medicine scope of practice
* Clinical competence in routine prenatal care including screening, monitoring, education, and management of common pregnancy related conditions
* Commitment to providing culturally responsive, relationship based, and trauma informed care
* Ability to work effectively within an integrated, interdisciplinary care team
* Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues
*Preferred*
* Prior experience providing prenatal care in a community health, FQHC, or safety net setting
* Experience working with Native American, Indigenous, or other historically dis invested communities
* Training or experience in trauma informed care, behavioral health integration, or substance use disorder treatment

Pay: $214,000.00 - $257,000.00 per year
