*Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)*
Rye Periodontics and Implant dentistry PC is seeking a flexible skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our Team. We are a patient-centered Periodontics practice committed to providing exceptional care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. If you are passionate about preventative oral health and patient education, we would love to meet you.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including prophylaxis and scaling and root planning.
* Conduct initial patient screenings, oral health assessments, and periodontal charting.
* Take high-quality dental x-rays.
* Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.
* Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
* Document patient care services and medical history accurately in patient charts.
* Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to create treatment plans.
* Maintain a clean and sterile operatory in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New York State.
* Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
* CPR certification.
* Experience with [Dental Software, e.g., Dentrix is a plus
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A team-oriented, positive, and professional attitude
New York Licensed Hygienist for periodontal office needed for Tuesday and Thursday . Tuesdays 9am-6 pm. Thrursdays from 9 am to 5 pm. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. Knowledge of dentrix and digital X-rays recommended. Please email resume
