Job Description
*Job Summary*
We are a private dental practice in N. Central Phoenix looking for a enthusiastic and motivated dental hygienist. We have an updated, state-of-the-art dental office with dedicated patient base and a energetic and fun working environment. We offer excellent benefits including 401k match, health insurance, paid holidays, personal time and a flexible schedule. We are open Monday thru Thursday. No Fridays or weekends! We are looking for a hygienist two days per week. Compensation is very competitive at $50+/hr with production bonus. Current RDH's are making $60-65+/hr with production bonus.
*Schedule*
Monday's and Thursday 7am-5pm
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments performed and any changes in patient conditions.
* Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Review patient diagnostic x-rays and photos to help identify treatment for the dentist.
* Stay updated on current dental terminology, medical terminology, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
*Experience*
* Three years of experience as a dental hygienist preferred.
* Familiarity with dental office systems and procedures is a plus.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
* Ability to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in patient care settings.
